for the Romanian Language Processing”

The event addresses to teaching stuff, researchers, professionals, students, Master and Ph.D students interested by: the realization of Romanian linguistic and lexicographic resources in electronic format, the realization of dictionaries, thesaurus, corpora, annotated or not, informatics technologies suitable for the Romanian language, application where linguistic technologies for the Romanian language are used, theoretical linguistic achievements in the study of the Romanian language, suitable for the informatics technologies.

The workshop takes place Thursday, November 3rd 2005, starting 9:00 a.m. at the Faculty of Computer Science Library in Iasi, 16 Berthelot Street. The workshop will be available in video-conference system to allow the on-line participation and intervention of participants across the world. Information on the connection will be available, starting Wednesday at the News Heading form the Faculty of Computer Science site (http://www.infoiasi.ro).
