Invitation to participate on The 9th International Conference on "Linguistic Resources and Technologies for Romanian Language":
University "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" Iaşi - through the Faculty of Computer Science, Romanian Academy - through the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Bucharest and the Institute of Theoretical Informatics Iaşi - invites you to participate on the IXth edition of Informatization Consortium for Romanian Language Conference, intitled "The 9th International Conference on Linguistic Resources and Technologies for Romanian Language" - ConsILR 2013, which will be taking place at Sturdza Castle, Miclăușeni, Iași, 16-17 May 2013.

The conference thematic is the following:

  • achievement of romanian linguistic resources, textual or spoken, in original form or adnoted (variorum);

  • achievement (creation) of representative romanian corpora;

  • achievement of Romanian lexicographic collections in electronic format;

  • linguistic technologies applied to romanian language and/or other languages (but with applicability for romanian language);

  • applications in which have been used linguistic technologies for the romanian language;

  • realizations of theoretical linguistic with applications in Romanian language technology;

  • creation, completion, adnotation and utility of resources and of multilingual thesaurus (treasury) where one of the languages is romanian language;

  • alignment of multilingual resources of diverse nature, with an accent on the romanian language resources;

  • applications of multilingual resources aligned in automatic translation, information extraction, sense desambiguisation, semantic web etc;

  • research projects which imply the development of resources and instruments dedicated to Romanian languages.

The paper, in english, must be between 8-10 pages. Until submitting the papers in the final form, the participants are asked to register at this address: an abstract of the paper, in order to inform upon their desire to participate on the Conference.

Important dates:

  • 28 February 2013 - submitting the papers;

  • 15 March 2013 - receiving the reviews;

  • 31 March 2013 - submitting the final form of the paper in order to be published;

  • 16-17 May 2013 - the Conference and volume publication.

  • 3 April 2013 - receiving the reviews;

  • 10 April 2013 - submitting the final form of the paper in order to be published.
